Privacy and how you may use the materials
Short version: nothing is tracked, and the lessons are yours to teach with. The details are below.
Privacy
We do not track you
You do not sign in, and there is nothing to sign up for. The site stores nothing on your device, does not build a profile of you, and does not run trackers. You can read every lesson without telling us who you are.
If you email us, we use your message only to reply and to fix what you told us about. We do not sell or share it.
Using the materials
What you may do with the lessons
Our original materials. The lessons we wrote are free to use for teaching and learning. You may use, copy, print, and adapt them in your classroom or at home, and share them with other teachers. Please keep a credit to Free School Curriculum when you share them. Do not resell them as your own product.
Public-domain works. Some lessons are built on works that are in the public domain, hosted as the exact public-domain edition. Those works carry no copyright, so you may use them freely. We add our own reading guides and questions around them; those additions are our original work, covered by the grant above.
We publish only original work or works we have verified are in the public domain. We do not host copyrighted material we do not have the rights to, and we do not post a modern copyrighted version of an old text.

These materials are for educational use. They are not medical, legal, or professional advice. Always follow your school’s and district’s policies, and use your own judgment about what fits your students.
Standards alignment is our honest claim that we wrote a lesson against a published framework. It is not a statement that any standards body has reviewed, approved, or endorsed the lesson, and we are not affiliated with any of them.
The materials are provided as-is. We work hard to keep them correct and useful, but we cannot promise they are free of every error — check anything you rely on, the same as you would with any teaching resource.
